Madison Park Yoga offers personalized Hatha Yoga synthesized with Somatic Movement to bring you an intelligent, refined, healing practice. Explore movement as medicine, a journey of transformation and growth for your body and mind.
Somatic yoga uses gentle movements to release fascia, encourage blood and lymphatic flow, nourish and support respiratory, digestive and neurological systems and tight muscles.
Classes emphasize working from our signature shape to build core stability and balance, increase flexibility, and calm our very busy minds.

If you have been curious about trying Somatic movement and yoga, this class is for you! It is a subtle and effective practice to restore physical and mental balance and connect from inside ourselves to body, movement and mind.
We work out of gravity, mainly on the floor to slide, pump, rock, stretch and spiral our bodies to release fascia and muscle. We use bolsters, blocks and straps to support and deepen our postures.
Please bring a yoga mat.
Private Somatic Sessions
Private session are held in-home or at my Madison Park studio by appointment. Sessions are generally 60 minutes but can be scheduled for longer. The rate is $125/ hour.
In a private session, we create and build a complete series of movements specifically for you, to support physical body; respiratory, neurological systems. We slow down, make space, and unwind to soften and let go of ingrained habits, patterns and tendencies. We release fascia and muscle to generate profound changes to immune system, movement and mood.
By tapping into the rich potential and power of slow, soft, small movement in fascial membrane recovery, every session is a journey that reveals openings to change, organic movements and practices your body needs to re-establish pathways to healing.

Meet your instructor
Catherine Trapani (she/her) is a 500 hour+ certified yoga teacher who develops innovative and intelligent movement practices that are refined, enlightening, joyful and empowering, to guide her students toward radiant health.
Catherine’s classes draw from her knowledge of yoga, pranayama, meditation, somatics, anatomy, Reiki, Ayurveda and Chi Gong.
